This project ensured food quality in university canteens by assessing supplier GAP standards and implementing a QR-based traceability system covering production, transport, storage, and meal preparation.
Vendors received training on hygiene, proper storage, and contamination prevention, while random residue testing was performed at the Faculty of Science laboratory.
Food safety risks were significantly reduced, boosting consumer confidence. All data are stored in the central KU database and linked with ongoing research, aligning with SDG 3 and SDG 12.
