               Kasetsart University, Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, in collaboration with the Department of Groundwater Resources and local water user groups, namely Chiang Khruea Subdistrict Municipality and Um Chan Subdistrict Administrative Organization, held a progress monitoring meeting. The Research Administration and Academic Services Division, Office of Kasetsart University Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, served as the technology application, transfer, implementation, and coordination unit. 

               Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharapong Inthrawong, Vice President of Kasetsart University, Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, presided over the meeting of the Groundwater System Management Committee and welcomed Mr. Pichit Sombatmak, Chief Inspector General of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and his delegation during their site visit. The delegation inspected the progress of a large-scale groundwater well construction project designed for deep, high-yield, and high-quality aquifers. This project is being developed into an efficient, large-scale groundwater supply system, serving as a model and learning center for groundwater resource management. Located on the campus of Kasetsart University, Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, the project aims to serve as a facility for study, research, and a prototype model for the systematic integration of groundwater and surface water management (Conjunctive Use). This initiative also focuses on transferring groundwater knowledge and technology to local communities, sustainably resolving water shortage hardships, and strengthening communities in accordance with Royal Initiatives.             

SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation): This is the primary and direct goal, helping to resolve drought and water shortages, and establishing groundwater security.
SDG 2 (Zero Hunger): Providing water for agriculture, crop cultivation, and animal husbandry to ensure food security.
SDG 15 (Life on Land): Restoring arid areas to their natural fertility.
SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Established through the integration and collaboration of government agencies, academic institutions, and communities.
